This is the first album released, after the unexpected success of their opening 4-song EP entitled "The Codeine EP". The song Codeine was the only one put on this album, though it's a rerecorded version.

This album, too, was quite successful and was therefore signed to self/co-owned label Cole-Has LLC in order to have control of all circumstances quickly growing around the music and members.

It is said to be "The Feel-Good Album" due to its so called healing effects on listeners' psyches. It also caught the attention of Chris Hillman (Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers) who said he loved the version of his song Time Between, which was covered here.

Also notable, is the playing of Bobby Black (Commander Cody, Asleep At The Wheel) on pedal steel throughout.
